DISNEYLAND... or maybe just Downtown Disney!

So, this weekend we knew that we wouldn't make it more than a few hours with Logan at the happiest place on earth but we have been dying to take some super cute photos with Logan and Disney-everything. Here are a few... Downtown Disney really is a beautiful place and happening place to take a stroll and "awe a baby." Logan was maybe even "over-stimulated" with all the colors, music, and people. He could have stared at the waterfall by the hotel for a solid 10 minutes alone.

There is an enormouse Mickey Hat in downtown Disney and Reed and I wanted to get a picture of it "on Logan's head," at least make it appear that way. What a smile, right? He is so engaged and cheery in this photo that you hardly even notice the whole reason why we were taking the photo... the Mickey hat on his head! Haha...

Of course, Hewey Dewey and Louie were telling ghost stories around the campfire and Daddy and Logan had to join the fun. This makes me think of all the camping trips that await us. Yosemite for sure... I know it is a trek but we must go at least once... I wonder if Hewey Dewey and Louie could come to Yosemite with us? ;o)

Family photo... and MASSIVE MICKEY!

I tried to look as cute as Minnie!!! I don't know if I could ever be as lady like and dainty as Minnie, but I sure tried. I figure, as long as Logan is in the picture, I always win the contest for cutest Mom on the block even if Minnie is just the most darling thing ever.

Mommy and Me Gone Walking... Again

Well, Logan and I have taken up walking. With our FABULOUS stroller and blue hat we are prepared for the gorgeous weather. Keep those sunny days coming. Reed and I love the second picture because Logan has the funniest face. Much attitude... right??

Oh... My Cranky Baby

Let's sum up Monday... fuss, fuss, eat, fuss, sleep for 45 minutes. Then, uh oh didn't quite take a nap just a really really short snoozer so... fuss, fuss, eat, fuss, play a little, fuss, fuss and then yes... he's sleeping, now he will for sure take a nap right? He is exhausted, he keeps yawning, of course he will sleep and wake full of positive energy. Nope, "just kidding mom" I only needed another 45 minutes and the pattern continues. What a Monday!! I love my little Logan Bear but rather than being a cuddly bear today he was quite "Crabby!" Hopefully tonight will do the both of us some good.

Another Fabulous Sunday!!

Wow... I must say Sundays are the best! With Summer just around the corner, Sundays are getting better and better. Today we had church of course and it is amazing to enjoy Sacrament with those you love and then to study the Gospel together... that's great too. Judy Lockhart did such a great job with the lesson.

Then comes the "resting" part of every Sunday. I guess my favorite part about this is not that you actually get to sleep but that we get a day to enjoy those people, activities, and things that the rest of the week seems to never have enough time for. We went on a walk together again with Logan's new hat, LAUGHED a lot especially as Logan awed at his new found height atop Dad's head, and had homemade chocolate chip cookies and french bread pizza. Dad and Mom cooked. It's always fun when we make things together in the kitchen. Dad's a great team player so I don't mind sharing my kitchen with him... he even does the dishes. Now that's a team player you don't want to lose.

Logan and Daddy definitely are the two most handsome men in my life. I love these fellas.

Logan's New Hat

Well, the weekend has arrived again and Logan is now 14 weeks old.His skin is still so precious but the outdoors are irresistable, so our oh so big plans included buying Logan his very own hat. I loved the blue... his eyes are just radiant and Mommy is totally envious of those beautiful blue eyes of his. His hat is still a little big, but fun nonetheless. Look at Daddy and Logan, they are too cute with their matching blues.
Besides the hat and our frequent walks outside, I feel teething approaching. Logan can't stop drooling and biting/sucking on everything he can get in his mouth. It's probably just his way of exploring the world right now but soon oh no... we will have teeth! Just look, first my fingers and then his Baby Bjorn... even when I would take my hand away he would lean as forward as he could to get his gums on his carrier.
All in all, it was a gorgeous day and Reed and I are just loving the beginnings of summer with our baby boy!

Logan's Our Sunshine, Our Only Sunshine, He Makes Us Happy When Skies are Gray!

It was quite a weekend.
We hung out with friends,
relaxed at the beach,
and tested just how flexible Logan is.
Well, it was our first beach trip together. The beautiful sun at home tempted us right to the sandy beach... but when we arrived, Logan was the only Sunshine in sight!
But for Reed and I, Logan will do!
Dad and Logan! Ahh... how cute are my handsome men??
I think here Logan's adjusting to the brightness and breeze.

Logan sure does make me happy!

Our Family - May 15th.
Quite the Party at the Paddock's.
Mmmm... Breakfast was good!

Dad... I bet your not as flexible as I am. Go ahead... roll me up into a ball... I can bring my toes to my head without a sweat! ;o)

Hangin' With Dad

Well, hello there Dad... You are upside down.
I never know what mischief these two will get into when Mom isn't around.

Bubbles...

I love my Logan!!
Cranky Dinosaur to begin with... His shirt got stuck on his head, it's a little big!
Happy, quacky ducky in the end.

Logan and his NOT SO OLD Uncles

These boys are handsome, mischevious, hilarious, kind, loving, and most of all they are near and dear to my heart!
Uncle Scott - Age 17, Logan - Age 2 Months

Uncle Brandon - Age 10, Logan - Age 2 Months

Me and My Big Boys...

Although I would love to have a little girl one day... I think you will agree when I say, I was meant to have a little boy. I love to do boy things and if/when I have a little girl we will do little girl and little boy things together too. This family pile up is the epitome of rassling, not wrestling, but rassling in our house. This was Easter weekend: from the bottom up... My brother Brandon, Reed, me and then my brother Scott. Soon enough Logan will join the party!!

Robyn & Justin Johns are Sealed

Well, these photos are in the reverse order that I wanted them to be in. Bummer... Just start from the bottom of the post and work your way up... please... it's better that way I promise!

I couldn't resist taking a photo with Reed in front of this ocean view. This is at Azul... the place where Robyn and Justin had their luncheon... way to go, great choice. Reed and I loved it.

These are the siblings of course. When I married Reed, I gained two sisters. I hope Justin doesn't mind gaining two sisters and a brother too. We promise we will be good to him.

Ahh... the Bride with her hubby and parents. This is a gorgeous photo. I don't think that Paula and Jeff could be any more proud of their daughter. Like the father of the groom said, "These two married right and in the right place."

I am not the humblest of ladies, I know I need to work on it but come on... how cute are Reed and I! I love this photo even if we are the "old married couple" rather than the young bride and groom. I hope Robyn and Justin will have all the joy and laughter that Reed and I share together. Goodluck love birds.

If I was scrapbooking a page for them, it would look something like this. Beautiful colors, decorations, Temple, flower, and most of all... what a beautiful Bride! Congratulations Robyn Johns!

Beautiful Flowers, Beautiful Temple

The San Diego Temple is absolutely beautiful. There are far too few places that maintain the outdoors the way the Temple does. These flowers are so gorgeous and just entice you to enter the Temple. However they are only a glimpse of the beauty that is within the Temple walls. Reed and I had only been to the San Diego Temple once before together, for our own Sealing!!! It was so great to return again together to see his sister be sealed to her hubby, Justin!

Golden Spoon Family

Of Course... The Golden Spoon Family finally has a blog!
