We had Logan in this chair for about 15 - 20 minutes at the store before we bought it just to make sure he LOVED what could be his new toy. Well... he played and played and played... at the store. And we thought, 'Look at us, we are so wise testing out the toy before we buy it. (Here's the best part) Why don't all parents do this?" Our arrogance sure keeps biting us in the booty. So we bought the toy because Logan LOVES the bouncy chair, right?
The next day we thought 'Let's give the bouncy chair a try during dinner time.' And lo and behold, it was a no go folks. He cried, fussed, and just was not content... IT DEFINITELY WAS NOT LOVE AT FIRST SIGHT.
So Reed and I were extremely frustrated at our 'unwisely spent money' but we got over it and carried on with our lives. Mommy was personal playmate when other home-made toys would not suffice (Water bottles with marbles in it to function like a rattle, pots and pans with a humungous spatula, dad's belt, mom's purse... etc) until Daddy, super hero, Daddy came home. No I don't mean Logan's super hero but my super hero because as much as you can love your babies, it sure is nice to have a break and well... Reed he takes care of me and is a fabulous Dad... he gives me my breaks!! :o)
Then a couple of weeks later we thought 'Why not try out the bouncy chair one more time... it is just sitting here in our living room hogging up all of the space.' They are huge toys, not apartment friendly to say the least. Well, this was the result:
We love you Logan and are glad you like your new toy.
